THE DIRECTORY OF HEALTH & WELLBEING PRACTITIONERS IN THE FOREST OF DEAN

Holistic Health Support For Everyone

Living in, or visiting, the Forest of Dean

Nestled between two rivers, the Forest of Dean is a national park, comprising ancient forest, natural woodland and modest lakes, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to live and work here.  We are an extensive network of independent health and wellbeing practitioners, who enjoy supporting each other, serving our local communities and treating the many visitors who come here throughout the year.

Who We Are

Initially established in 2016, we began as a social support network for like-minded Health & Wellbeing Practitioners – and still are. We now meet monthly for business to business networking, regularly for social events, and have a closed Facebook group for mutual support with over 100 members. If you are interested in joining the group, or being listed on the directory, please see our FAQs on the Contact page or contact us for more information.

Why Us?

To be listed on our directory, practitioners need to meet our criteria, which include providing two references and being insured for the services listed.  Behind the directory, we are a support network for each other as we all recognise the importance of our own health and wellbeing.  We also cross refer and signpost to other practitioners and services whenever we feel this would be of benefit to our clients and their goals.

Different Types of Health

Holistic Health

We believe that our physical, mental and emotional health are all connected, and that by addressing any of these aspects, we can in turn impact the others.

Physical Health

Our physical bodies are made up of bones, muscles and organs, and physical pain and symptoms can interfere hugely with our ability to enjoy life.

Mental Health

Stress and anxiety can build up over time and become debilitating, with stress now the number one reason for long term sickness absence from work.

Emotional Health

Emotional health can deteriorate for many reasons – including physical and mental health issues, specific circumstances and events or a combination.
